Vancouver Island Stone Sculpture Symposium (VISSS) is an annual, weeklong program of workshops and demonstrations given by sculptors for sculptors. Intimate hands-on sessions with expert instructors will improve your technique, inspire your designs and build your expertise. Participants return to VISSS year after year to share their passion for working with stone. It is a place to learn, exchange ideas and recharge your creative batteries for both the novice and the seasoned artist.

Plan A – lodging, activities, meals, and all instruction for 6 nights – $1,550.00
Plan B – off site lodging, all activities, meals plus all instruction for the full week – $1,250.00
Plan C – day rate – includes 1 night’s lodging, 3 meals and all instruction – $250.00 (plus one-time $50 guild membership)
Plan D – day rate – off site lodging, 3 meals and all instruction – $220.00 (plus one-time $50 guild membership)

For the weeklong stays, a refundable deposit of $550 is due upon registration. For the one-day plans, Plan C and D, you must pay in full at time of registration. Full payment is due by July 31, 2024. No refunds after this date. After you register, you will receive an information letter with details, which will help you prepare for the symposium.

If, in the event that there is insufficient enrollment by May 2024 to make the symposium economically viable, then the symposium will be cancelled and $500 will be refunded.
